JX PHOTO CLOCK is a round clock which allow you to use your own image
(BMP, JPG, GIF, WMF, ICO ....) as clock face and to define every detail
clock preference by yourself!!
For Win95, Win98, WinNT4.0 only.
Free for Home users, government, educational and non-profit organizations only.

1.Install (Full Version)
(1)Extract jxclk***.zip to a directory.
(2)Execute "SETUP.EXE"
(3)If necessary, setup will update your OLE dlls and request you to restart Windows.
Run "SETUP.EXE" again after restart.
2.Basic Operations
* User define clock size (just DOUBLE CLICK on the clock to get into RESIZE MODE)
* User define clock face (bmp,jpg,gif...just drag & drop your file on to
the clock, or you can choose it in SETTING page)
* User define clock face position (Use mouse to move clock face in RESIZE MODE.
You can also use up, down, left, right key to move it, use +, -, *, / to ZOOM it.
Press SHIFT to adjust.)
* User define clock color.
* Stretch your bitmap file to clock size
* Zoom your bitmap file.
* A SCREEN SAVER with anime background. Clock will be "maximized", and restore its
size after screen saver!
* Font, Display, other detail setting.
* Always on top
* "Corner Active". Move you mouse pointer to specified screen corner will active
the SCREEN SAVER immediately! You can alos define a HOT KEY to do this.
(Default HOTKEY: Ctrl + ~)
* SCREEN SAVER AutoON: Enable the SCREEN SAVER when clock launched. Restore it when
clock exit.
* Screen Saver background anime. You can specify the speed and direction of it.
* Alarm Clock. Startup, Hour Chime, Half Hour Chime, Hourly, Daily, Weekly, Monthly,
Yearly, Once only. Can play wav, mid, CD AUDIO, or execute other program.
(for example: Call Winamp to play MP3!!). And you can set a popup message.
* Press Ctrl + Alt + Left mouse click to HIDE the clock and disable the SCREEN SAVER.
It's useful when you want to watch TV Program, VCD, play full screen games, or use
CDR to burn a CD....Click the icon in system tray will restore everything.

3.What's new?

4.How to play MP3?
First, you need a MP3 player program. If you don't have, try WINAMP:

After you install you MP3 player, you have to do the procedure below:
(1)choose any .mp3 file
(2)press "SHIFT"
(3)mouse right click on that .mp3 file, a popup menu will display.
(4)choose "Open With...", a window showup let you choose your application.
(5)mark "Always use this program....", and then click "browse" to find you MP3 player.
click "OK"
Now, you have you MP3 chime clock. Specify your MP3 file to any chime event, it will
be played and stoped just like other WAV files.
5.Trouble Shoot
Most of the problems can be corrected by deleting JX PHOTO CLOCK setting
in the Registry:
(1)Close JX PHOTO CLOCK
(2)click Win95 "Start" button.
(3)choose "Run".
(4)Browse to find REGEDIT.EXE. if you don't know where it is, it might be:
"C:\WINDOWS\REGEDIT.EXE"
(5)Find "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\JX Clock",
then delete it.
After doing this, JX PHOTO CLOCK will restore it's original setting.
WARNING!! DO NOT edit the registry manually if you don't know what are you
doing. It might cause some terrible trouble.
6.Uninstall
(1)Delete the screen saver "jxclkscr.scr" in the window directory, usually
"c:\windows\jxclkscr.scr"
(2)Delete the ShortCuts on Desktop(usually "c:\windows\Desktop\JX PHOTO CLOCK.LNK")
and startup(usually "c:\windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\JX PHOTO CLOCK.LNK")
(3)Delete the JX PHOTO CLOCK directory, default is "c:\jxclock".
(4)If you really need, you can delete the registry setting follow 3.
7.Copy
You may make copies of the original Software. But, you may not
modify, transrate, merge, disassemble, or de-compile the Software nor
attempt to reverse engineer the source code of the Software.
